    George Devis McKenna
Based on information from the 1911 England Census
George Devis McKenna, a 29-year-old man from Liverpool, was the head of a household in Kirkdale, Lancashire, England in 1911. He lived at 14 Pugin St Liverpool with his wife Catherine, aged 30, and their three children. George worked as a Ships Whitsmith, a skilled occupation related to shipbuilding and maintenance.

The household consisted of six members, including George's sister Phoebe, aged 31. It is interesting to note that George's sister lived with them, suggesting a close-knit family dynamic. This could indicate a supportive network within the household.

George and Catherine had three young children. Their eldest son, George, was four years old, followed by their daughter Catherine, who was two. The youngest child, Arthur, was only one year old. The presence of young children suggests a bustling and lively household, filled with the joys and challenges of raising a young family.

Living in Kirkdale, a civil parish in Lancashire, George's family was part of a larger community. The address on Pugin St Liverpool places them in an urban setting, likely surrounded by other families and neighbours. This could have provided opportunities for social interactions and support from the community.

Overall, the data paints a picture of George Devis McKenna as a hardworking family man, dedicated to his occupation as a Ships Whitsmith and committed to providing for his wife and children. The presence of his sister in the household suggests a close family bond, while the young children add a sense of energy and joy to their lives.

It is very AI.... it does flesh out the document and probably will help some people to place themselves in with their ancestors.

As long as AI isn't creating something that isn't there, is it much different to Ancestry's "Life Stories"?

It goes further - too far in my opinion.

It's the sort of unfounded wishful thinking that one sees in all too many family histories. It might be right, but it's pure supposition.

Yes, I thought the same Peter. A lot of supposition, but it could be early days, they could get better.
